World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades can boost the value of armors, weapons and rings. They also boost extra bonuses, such as crit chance and PvE damage.

For instance a weapon that has the upgrade template that is ending in % will gain 3% attack damage every time it is upgraded (relative to its previous value).

Item upgrading costs crests and the item upgrader kit's current level. The cost increases as the level of the item rises.

Components

Upgrade components are items that can be put into armor, weapons, and trinkets to give an extra stat boost or impact while they're being used. These can be obtained through crafting, purchasing from vendors, trading or Item upgrading looting. Some upgrades can also be accompanied by specific cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can only be applied to equipment that has a slot. The item must be upgraded to blue before the component can be used. Unlike other mods, upgrade components can only be used once; they cannot be applied repeatedly or replaced by new upgrades. Infusions and enrichments are a kind of upgrade component used to upgrade non-amulet legendary and item upgrading ascended equipment, as well other items that are not ascended. Enrichments and Infusions can be obtained by salvaging ascended equipment or by completing a mission within the Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall campaigns.

An upgrade may have a prefix or suffix that alters the name of the equipment with which it is used (for instancethe "Canthan Armor Insignia' becomes Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). Certain upgrades boost an item's Mark Level, or Rarity, allowing players create stronger versions of the equipment that require less Upgrade Crystals than is required to reach the same level of upgrade using normal methods.

A boost upgrade can alter the attack or defense attributes of a weapon, or armor. These upgrades can be crafted from the Portative Forging Station once the player has completed the cutscene, and defeats the Crazed mechanic. They can be dropped by enemies while upgrading other gear, or by purchasing them from the cash store for 500 upgrade crystals.

The player can have up to five boost upgrades at a time. Each upgrade increases the probability that a better-quality version of the item will drop during the next reset. This gives the player an incentive to keep upgrading their gear even if they're uncertain of how much they'll improve following a subsequent reset.

If a boost upgrade is successful or not, the process may be costly and there is a significant possibility that the item will become obsolete or even break if it fails; a failure to upgrade can ruin the Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder as well as the upgraded item. Cash shop items can be used to decrease or eliminate the chance of failure. Some upgrades also give the player a bonus if they are they are reinserted.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to upgrade the Paragon Board by placing them in sockets that are specifically designed for. Glyphs increase the power of all nodes in a radius around them, including pre-existing affixes on equipment. Glyphs can be upgraded in a variety of ways, and we suggest getting them to level 15 whenever you can.

It is commonplace to see in the final game that placing Glyphs is the most effective way to upgrade your equipment. They are the only upgrade component that can be upgraded directly to level 15 and offer a large boost to your power and radius on the Paragon Board, enabling you to reach higher nodes much faster.

Glyphs, which is the only upgrade component that can be removed without restriction and then replaced with no restrictions, are the most common. Only legendary equipment can be salvaged and rebuilt with a Black Lion Salvage Kit.

Each Glyph has a specific range of values can enhance a stat by, and the value is displayed when you select the Glyph in your inventory. You can replace it with another Glyph of the same rank or a higher rank, which will increase the value of the Glyph.

There are Glyphs in the Black Lion Trading Post, as part of the Gem Store purchase or bundle with certain unlimited-use gathering tools, and through Faction Crypt raids. Every Faction Crypt has the chance of dropping one of the many Glyphs and there are some rare Glyphs that can be obtained as drops from any of the four Faction Crypts.

Once you have obtained the desired Glyphs then you have to attach them to your equipment. Each Glyph unlocks a bonus that will boost the stats of a particular set of nodes within a radius around the Glyph. Depending on the Glyph, this will either be +40 to one of your primary stats or +25 to two of your secondary stats.

Glyphs boost all nodes that are connected to them, which is why it is Best item upgrader to place Glyphs in strategic spots on the Graph. This will maximize the impact. For instance an Druid should aim to place their Glyphs close to their primary damage points, however, you may also want to consider placing them near critical damage nodes, too.

Leveling

The item upgrading system allows players to increase the effectiveness of specific items by putting upgraded components inside them. This is also known as "upping". Every upgradeable item has an amount that determines its final upgraded stats. Upgraded items may be leveled to a maximum of ilvl 385. Each level requires a different amount of components to be reached, and the upgrade costs increase as the item gets advanced in level.

Certain upgrades require a certain ingredient to activate. This ingredient is obtained from the completion of Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be purchased from NPCs or found on the upgrade tab of a crafting table. Each completed Upgrade Recipe earns several Technology Points. These points can be used to the upgrading of an item. When enough points have been earned you will be able to claim your upgrade and receive its additional bonuses.

When an item is upgraded by a player to a higher level, the original item is replaced with a different item of the same type. The same armor will receive an weapon or shield when upgraded. The new item will also come with a bonus of its own. This could be a drawback, as it can make the item more expensive, even if you don't need it.

The upgrades to items can be rerolled, if the player has enough tokens to do this. This will cause the item to be traded for a new one, with an initial level and a completely different set of bonus bonuses. This can be useful but it should not be used frequently as it could waste resources.

Certain upgrades can boost their value, allowing players to customize their equipment. An excellent example is Dolphin's Gift, which gives an advantage when a player is repeatedly in and out of the water (or is able to swim like dolphins). This item can be upgraded several times, increasing the maximum roll every time by 10 increments. This item is very useful in PvP. A well-rolled version can be worth as much as 50x the value of a unupgraded counterpart.

Requirements

item upgrader mod upgrading (over here) allows players to upgrade the quality of their equippable equipment--armor, weapons, and trinkets over ilvl 385 by offering the appropriate items and currencies to an NPC that upgrades items. The upgrade of armor set pieces will also boost the defense base of that piece, while upgrading weapons will increase the base damage and the strength and dexterity required to meet the upgraded equipment's requirements.

All items can be upgraded up to five times, with the exception of hero gear which can have eight upgrades. Each time you upgrade an object it is at risk of failing. The rate of failure increases when you exceed the maximum number. Failures can cause the item to return to its original state, which requires the player to pay for more resources than if they had stopped upgrading after the maximum number.

If an item does not upgrade the amount of experience in its growth bar is reset to zero. The item upgrader kit also loses any bonuses it has gained, such as the chance to crit damage to attack, other effects (such as an increase in healing over time or the speed of reloading). The player is able to use their weapon or armor after the failure.

Whenever an item is upgraded, the upgrades are applied from the lowest to the highest. This means that, when a weapon gains an increase in crit chance it will be applied prior to any increase in attack damage. Slots is a brand-new attribute that has been added to item definitions. The value is recalculated every time an upgrade occurs.

The amount of resources needed to upgrade an item is based on the rarity rating and number of upgrade slots. The upgrade cost for non-premium items is the same as the base value of the upgrade--for example, a common equipment item may have five upgrades with a cost of 25,600 Technology Points and a 4x Quality Improvement Chance--whereas hero grade items will come with a much lower cost for each additional upgrade.

Premium items could have different upgrade requirements from regular gear. For example, they may need less sowels, but they will require more minerals and orons. Regardless, the player will need to visit the NPC [Armor] Boboko in Central Flarine with each piece of equipment they wish to upgrade. In addition to the upgrade costs listed above, each equipment upgrade will require the use of different ingredients for upgrading.
