Goethe-Zertifikat Kategorię A1 (Start German 1) Exam Schedule

The official list below shows time periods that are reserved, not confirmed exams. Please check with your instructor whether or not your course will be taking its final exam in this period.

Be sure to read the Goethe exam guidelines on each exam's page prior to you register. Be sure to register with the correct exam level.

Locations

The Exam Schedule lists the locations where DEP conducts operator qualification exams. Check out the individual exam pages for additional guidelines, terms and conditions and exam information. If you need special accommodations due to chronic disease, visual or hearing impairment or other limitations make contact with the exam provider and provide the documents when you register.

Faculty may find their exam times by using the "View My Teaching Schedule" task on the Faculty Dashboard in Workday. The Registrar's Office also has a list of exam times for classes that must have an exam by NYSED regulations. Final exams for evening classes are scheduled during the regular class meeting times of the final examination weeks.

Please take note that the Projected University Examination Schedule is intended as a rough guideline and that exam dates are subject to change.

Registration

Students are advised to check the exam schedule online. It is important to keep in mind that the schedule for exams can be altered at any time. Students should therefore inquire with their instructors for the correct date and time of their test. Students should be certain to print the official list and bring it for their exams.

Students must also familiarize themselves with the guidelines and terms of the exam in addition to the schedule. They are available on the individual exam pages. Students acknowledge they have read and agree to the terms and conditions of registration.

Exam sites make every effort to accommodate those with special requirements. The nature and severity of these requirements must be declared on the registration form, and then confirmed by an attestation from a doctor. Additionally, the exam locations must respect confidentiality and be maintained.

If students are scheduled to take three tests on the same day, they should contact their instructor or department to arrange for a make-up test. It is possible to take three examinations on the same day. However, this can result in a lot of stress and can affect the quality. The professor might not be able to give an opportunity to take a makeup test on a different day.

Before taking the test, students must prepare by studying their syllabus and practicing their German skills. The exam is a test on paper that assesses the ability to speak, read and write in German. The results of the test are given using a scale of egzamin praktyczny a1 to C2. Students who successfully pass the test receive a Goethe-Zertifikat. The certificate certifies that the student has attained the level of language przepisy kategorii a1. This level is the first stage of the six-level scale of competence laid down in the Common European Framework of Reference for Foreign Languages. The exam is free of charge. Students should bring a valid government-issued ID to the test. Students who do not have a valid picture identification will be disqualified.

Fees

If you have completed your studies at Elan Academy and wish to receive the Goethe-Zertifikat szkoła nauki jazdy a1 (start German 1), you must pay the exam fee. This fee is in addition the cost of the course.

Practice tests allow you to get a feel for the style of the test, prawo Jazdy kat. a1 the language, and the difficulty of the questions on the test. They allow you to assess your level, kategorię a1 discover areas of knowledge that aren't covered and increase your chances of passing the test.

Please take note that the fee for exams is not refundable. Exam results can only be emailed and not via telephone.
