Path of Exile Item Upgrades

item upgrader mod upgrades are a common and essential way to boost the performance of many items in Path of Exile. They can also provide additional damage, AD or even affixes.

Rare-grade equipment is often superior to upgraded Common or Magic equipment because of their high requirements.

Armor

Armor upgrades are a kind of upgrade that can be used on armor and weapon items. They improve the performance of the item they are connected to. Armor upgrades are available in the world of the game and can be purchased from Blacksmiths at bonfires. Additionally, they can be rescued from items with upgrade components in them using a specialist or more powerful salvage kit.

The level of an armor's or weapon's upgrade determines the amount of damage it can absorb. The upgrade of an armor piece to the highest upgrade level will boost its ability to absorb damage. It is important to note that this will increase the weight of the armor, therefore it should be heavier.

There are a variety of armor upgrades that are available in the game. Each one has a distinct impact. Some upgrades give armor an extra amount of health points while others make it lighter and more powerful. The type of armor upgrade that an item upgrade can receive will be identified by the name of the upgrade as shown in the table below.

Certain upgrades require magic or a hybrid technology and magic, which is shown by the "Magic" and "Hybrids" entries in the table below. Additionally, some upgrades require a fee to use, which is identified by the "Charges" entry in the table below. Therefore, it is generally not recommended to upgrade most armor pieces beyond +9, since the defensive boost gained is generally not worth the extra weight and power cost of the upgrades required.

Weapons

Weapon upgrades give players the ability to improve certain aspects of their weapon. For instance an upgrade could improve the damage that is caused by the shells of a shotgun or the accuracy of a rifle sniper. Certain firearms have upgrades to improve their inherent capabilities. Frictionless materials (improves stability, minimizes the risk of overheating), and Kinetic coils (increases the projectile's acceleration for greater damage) are two examples.

The majority of weapon upgrades require the use of a whetblade, or one of the three Power Dices and a different amount of Minerals and Erons. These can be obtained by completing Side Quests or killing a certain amount of monsters and bosses.

To upgrade an equipment set, weapon piece, or Whetblade, you must visit the NPC [Armor] Boboko located in Central Flarine, and pay her an upgrade fee of a specific number of Bars. The majority of players will prioritize weapon upgrades for the weapons they use most frequently to help them level up quicker. In addition to these, players should consider upgrading the weapons favored by their squadmates to increase their power as well. Jewels

Jewels are placed in the armor's sockets and weapons, increasing the stats of a weapon and providing additional effects. These reagents can be obtained around the world through Treasure Goblins, World Bosses and, sometimes, by salvaging Legendary gear. The Jeweler can improve the quality of the gem in stages that range from Crude up to Royal. Based on the level of the jewel, it will provide a different stat boosts when it is inserted into weapons, equipment and jewelry.

All levels of jewels are crafted at the Jeweler, with the exception of the rare and legendary gems that require you to be at a high enough level to be able to get them. Unlike other upgrade components, jewels are able to be swapped with another jewel of the same type without damaging it. However it is only possible to replace the jewels in an item of equipment only once.

It is common to use more jewelry to enhance the appearance of. Apart from improving performance, the jewels also create a surface that is harder than metal, which means that repeated friction with pivots doesn't cause harm as easily.

In addition to the above upgrades players can also get glyphs for their shields and weapons from a Glyphmaster. They can also be obtained from vendors as well as through the completion of road interactions. They can be found on the Trading Post, or crafted by jewelers.

The first trinkets that a player unlocks will be the cloak. It grants an unimportant but beneficial boost to speed of movement and the ability to escape. Jungle players usually upgrade their yellow trinkets to a red one at the beginning of the game. Top and mid players however they will select a pink or green ward, based on the game's matchup. These choices will have a major impact on the hero's ability to control his map.
